Website

What does 'Enquire for availability' mean?

Whilst the majority of our work is either on display in the gallery or in stock, we also display in a number of retail environments to increase the exposure of our artists. Please get in touch and we can let you know about current availability and price.

 

What does 'This item is reserved' mean?

If a customer wishes to reserve a piece of work for viewing in person, we will mark that item as reserved on the website which makes it unavailable to buy until the customer has come into the gallery to view it. They have a period of one week in which to do this, at which point the product becomes automatically unreserved and is available for purchase through the website once again.

 

What is the Compare List?

The Compare List lets you view two items side by side to allow you to make a more informed decision as to which piece of art you prefer.

 

What is 'Subscribe to this artist'?

As a registered user on the website, you can subscribe to an artist and whenever that artist is featured in an exhibition, has new art added to the gallery, or is featured in a blog post, we'll send you an email to let you know. You can change these preferences at any time from your account area.

 

Payments

How do I know my payments are taken securely?

All payments are handled by Worldpay, an internationally approved payment processing service. When you place your order, you will be securely redirected to the Worldpay website, where you can safely enter your card information and complete your purchase.

 

What card types do you accept?

We accept Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Mastercard and American Express.

 

Shipping

Will my order be packaged safely?

Of course! We have been doing this for many years and always ensure art is appropriately packaged before postage.

 

How long will my order take to arrive?

We aim to deliver UK orders within 2-5 working days and international deliveries within 15 working days. Please note that these are only guidelines and delivery times can vary. Also, please be aware that exhibition items will not be sent untill 10 days after the exhibition finishes.

 

Do you offer combined postage?

Unfortunately, as each item is individually packaged we cannot offer this service.

 

Will my order have postal insurance?

Yes, we have art gallery insurance which ensures art is insured even when in-transit.

 

What if my order is damaged in-transit?

All orders are extremely well packaged; however, in the unlikely event of in-transit damage, please get in touch as soon as you order arrives so we can begin the insurance claiming process.

Returns

What is your returns policy?

There is a 7 day period from the date of delivery of your item in which you can return your item, provided it is still in its original condition, for a full refund excluding postage. Please note that when returning items it is your responsibility to insure the item and the risk is yours, not the gallery's, until the item is safely received.

Buying art online

I'm concerned the image of the piece on the website isn't representative of how it will appear in real life.

This is a natural concern to have and something we have taken a number of measures to accommodate. Firstly, we ensure all our images are high quality and and as representative as possible. Secondly, if you like a piece but wish to view it in person, you can get in touch with us and we will mark it as reserved on our website, which will prevent other customers from purchasing it for one week. This will give you time to arrange a visit to the gallery for a live viewing and make a decision as to whether you do wish to purchase the piece. Lastly, if you wish to see more images of an item, in it's frame, in various lighting, etc. then just get in touch and we will happily help.

 

Will you help me choose a piece that works best in this particular setting/would make a good gift/would be a good investment?

Of course! We are always happy to help. Just get in touch.

 

Art Care

Will my painting include a frame?

Nearly all paintings, excluding canvases, will come with a frame.

 

Will my painting include a glass cover?

This is very dependent on the artist's personal preference, but generally watercolour and acrylic paintings will come behind glass.

 

Can I change the frame?

Yes you can; however, we highly recommend you seek a professional service.

 

How do I care for my purchase?

All paintings should be kept away from direct heat sources. We are happy to provide specific hanging information so please contact us for advice.
